LOVE THIS TO THE HILT! There is a word that comes to my mind, ALWAYS, when I see a home as such: SENSUAL.
I grew up in a home very similar to this, in Southern California, that had what is called California Knock-down walls...that application of the stucco that gives an uneven surface. We had that applied to our dining room and our two new rooms.
The essential elements such as the rock-like walls, the white walls, the arched windows....it all gives a sense of texture that gives me that word SENSUAL. Oh yeah, this is livin'! And that blue floor with the shoes. That's all a shoe-lovin' gal needs is the sense of water under her feet.
