Hi there! Thanks for stopping by. My name is Stacey Blake and I am a Mama of 3 and a very proud military wife. My work has been featured not only in numerous places online, but also in print, locally and nationally. After being an educator for many years, I took an hiatus to stay home and take care of our kiddos. In doing so, I discovered the world of blogging and found my new talent and passion that is now my blog; Design Addict Mom. I share interior design news and trends, my interior design projects, snippets of motherhood and lifestyle musings.

Stacey, you have such good taste ... you like what I do (hehe). Seriously each of these pics are such great examples of how stripes bring energy without overpowering a scheme. And the buildings painted with stripes, looks like a magical place, and the stripes integrated into the modern exterior architecture, I'd hire that architect :) I recently added a large striped rug to my front room, a pair of striped poufs, and I also have the often seen striped IKEA throw in there, so I'm definitely on that bandwagon. My hubby doesn't care for stripes !!! but so far even he likes the front room combo.
I'm feeling the stripe love, too. I would love a striped upholstered peice of furniture. Is that you little man in the last shot? What a cutie!

Me, too! From big to small, and wide to narrow, I adore stripes. My favorites are simple ticking fabrics for slipcovers :)

Love this post! Stripes are so fun and the stripes on the homes are so pretty. I just bought a maxi with striped and wear it all the time. I currently don't have a lot of stripes going on in my house.. Maybe I'll start will pillows:)

Stripes and more stripes...I love them too.I also loved all your photos of stripes...even the crazy ones.But mostly I loved the last one. It was fab and a darling little girl in her stripes.
