Painted Pocket Door: Before and After

painted pocket door

Hi everyone! We are covered under ice, schools are out, so how do I cope, I paint of course! Ideally, I would prefer to be working on the patio style challenge, but since that can't happen, I set my sights on the pocket door in the kitchen. We have a couple of them in our home and I always fancied the look of a painted pocket door. It's a lovely element of surprise because it's so unexpected.

There is the before. Nothing wrong with it at all, but you know me...

I chose Behr Ultra(which is their paint and primer in one). The color is Coy Pink and goes beautifully with the walnut cupboards and the BM Wedgewood Grey color on the wall. Better pics and more kitchen talk coming soon...

I risked falling to snap this pic so you could see the trees covered in ice. Stay warm everyone! xx

It looks amazing - love the color!! We are covered with sleet, ice and snow…not the fun kind to play…
