A Stylish Parisian Apartment.

01
I saw this Parisian apartment on one of my must read blogs and had to share it here!  As you know, I’m smitten with all things Parisian and for good reason! The French is the embodiment of beauty and all things stylish.  I love this library/wall unit and I have one wall in my house that I am now thinking would look just wonderful with a unit like this! I love the use of the vertical space too, don’t you?

beautiful natural light and great use of materials and space

004
love the contrast of the white against the dark colour

loving the splashes of blue and how about that wall treatment that’s peeking out behind the bed. I love it! I wonder if it’s wall paper or paint…

Have a wonderful weekend everyone! It’s been raining here for days, so I hope we get lots of sunshine this weekend!  XX

  1. Very dramatic and theatrical. I like it. The rug in the living room is quite wonderful. Hope you get a little sunshine between raindrops! Xx

  2. GORGEOUS apartment - and two of my favourite things featured here! For some reason I just ADORE library ladders in houses. I have a secret desire to put bookshelves as high as possible all round my house, just so I can have an excuse to use a library ladder - so romantic. Perhaps it reminds me of the film Funny Face with Audrey Hepburn and Fred Astaire? Also, I simply LOVE vintage French language posters! Don't know why, but there's something SO chic about them. Thanks for the images. Hope all is good with you - alternates between sun and rain here in England - I have NO idea whether to wear a jumper(sweater in the US I think?) or a t-shirt - VERY confusing! x

I really like that kitchen, making think I need some white tile in my already white kitchen. Is that an orange knife block on the counter?
    Right up our alley :)

  6. Absolutely gorgeous pied-a-terre but you know this apartment is considered huge by Paris standards right? I would take it if I could get it! I say go for the walls of books.

  8. J'adore! I agree with that library completely. I just love built in shelves like that and when style meets practicality in a perfect marriage. Go for it - it would look fab in your place!

Happy weekend and big hugs from Sweden.
