Black and White.

I love using black and white to spice up the look of a space. Adding punches of black and white into one’s home décor is a sure way to infuse interest and pack a graphic punch. Black and white is even more dramatic against light/neutral backdrops like the spaces featured above. How do you feel about black and white; is it packing a punch in your home? XX

Black & white are classic for many reasons, and I love these interiors. I also like the abstract touch of art. :)

the IKEA rug in the second picture makes me dizzy every time I see it! Love these pictures though. Especially the first one! I looked everywhere for a runner rug similar to that one, to no avail.

Black and white is a chic timeless classic that can be achieved in any style - from deco to modern. I always try and add something black in every room - it adds that extra little grounding punch!

I love the high contrast of black and white. My first apartment had a lot of it. And, as I look around now, I don't have much in the public spaces of our home (not sure why) but my oldesn't son's room is exactly that...black and white with colorful accents. It's a tiny room but one of my favorites in our home.

Hi there, sorry it's been a while, but I haven't been able to open your site on my super slow connection. Things are better now and it's great to be back.

I adore the room with the little touches of colour and the office in the wardrobe.

Hello Stacy,

I definitely do use contrasts within my space... only one piece has black but the rest offer quite a punch as you speak of. The last space is gorgeous!

Hope you are having a wonderful week so far.

xx, Sarah

I'm a huge white fan and usually end up with a tiny bit of black in a space somewhere. It's so classic. And I've been finding more and more of my wardrobe is turning black and white - chic and easy. :)

It always amazes me that black and white just never goes out of style. Oh, sure sometimes it is more fashionable than other times, but it is never, ever OUT of style. So adaptable, across so many architectural genres and eras - clever really!
