Some pictures from Zion’s birthday.
Baby Z’s(guess I have to stop referring to him as Baby Z since he’s now 2) birthday party for his 2nd birthday was simple. My goal was to use what I already had so I referred to the party as “Springing into two,” since I already had many colourful items. I had a ton of lanterns and I focused mainly on the colours, green and yellow. I wasn’t very consistent with that either, but Spring is about all colours, right? Funny story: the lanterns on the mantle on the fireplace above were originally hanging next to that yellow one below, but they all fell down just before people started arriving, so I placed them on the mantle. I think they looked just fine there and no one was the wiser.

I always love big balloons so I ordered the 36 inch green ones seen in the pics online.
another hit with the kids was this bounce house that we rented. I even had a turn-so fun!
Baby Z was actually very sick on his birthday and is only just recovering. He had a high fever coupled with the cold, no appetite(for days) and an ear infection. Therefore, he was not having a fun time
. He actually went to sleep shortly after we sung him happy birthday. I didn’t have a smash cake for him this year, so I gave him a cupcake with the # 2 on it and that tool in his hand was his cupcake cutter. I’m not sure if he minded the downgrade…

In case you’re wondering, the colour on the walls in the pics is Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter. The flower light fixture in the great room is from Ikea. I fell in love with it and had to get it. The other above the table in the kitchen is the FL/Y suspension pendant light that I purchased from DWR. Have a lovely Tuesday my friends. XX

STACY!!!! YOU ARE IN YOUR NEW HOME????? OH DEAR...it is gorgeous, and look at all the pretty colors...so you dearest! AND POOR BABY...he was sick? Oh by now, he must be on the mend. Well, you are IN!!! It is so gorgeous, and thank you for providing the color of the paint; the color is so classic and ARE YOU LOVIN' YOUR NEW SPACE? The family room is just beautiful, with vaulted ceilings like ours. Oh Stacy, it is so fun to enjoy the new space. My spring break so far is consisting of reading in that new room, perusing my house, sitting in different rooms to enjoy different activities and just soaking it in. We have done most of the hard work, including pulling a muscle in my back causing a pain in my thigh, but ALL IS WELL! Thank you or visiting, and I still want to have a HOUSE-WARMING party for ya! Aww, so cute. Good he's feeling better. I love kids birthday parties even though at that age, and the decorations were to so festive.

Awww, poor Zion, so sorry to hear the little guy was so sick on his birthday, I hope he is back to 100% health. I am loving your transom windows in your great room. What a great birthday theme since it looks like it was warm enough to do…not up here! Your new home and Zion look wonderful!
That looks like such a fun party. You're one busy lady right now. BTW, I still call my daughter baby and she just turned 10. I tell her I'll call her that when she's an old lady and I'm even older:)
Now the house has been fully "broken in". Love the Pewter wall color -- the perfect canvas! When is his actual birthday? Luke turned 10 yesterday 3/28--time just flies!!!

What a fun birthday party, I do hope he fully recovers soon enough. The lantern looks so pretty and festive. I love the bounce house, even though I'm not a kid anymore, they are just pure fun to play with.

There is nothing sweeter in life than celebrating one's child! Happy Birthday Zion! We just celebrated my daughter's party this past weekend and I cried at the end, so sad to see 5 years go so fast!

Hope he is doing okay now. My kids love the chocolate covered bananas. By the way I had a client just use revere pewter on her bathroom. Love it so much. Hope is well.
Looks like a great party and you house is looking fabulous as well - the exterior of my last house was Revere Pewter - it's a great color!! Too bad baby z wasn't feeling better to enjoy the festivities!

Aww Sorry to hear baby Z wasn't feeling well. What a great party you threw him. I love your choice of colors. Baby Z is so cute I love his ultra chic high chair. I'm glad he was able to at least stay awake to blow out his candles. Oh and those paper lanterns are awesome!
