It's on and Popping: Exterior Colours of the House

(this view shows a straight shot of the back of the house)

Yep, i think the colours i chose for the exterior are popping:-). I really do love the end result. I chose the colour, Benjamin Moore Mineral Alloy #1622 for the siding. Mineral Alloy is a beautiful blue grey colour. I wanted a colour that would have presence and highlight the lines of the house beautifully. I think this colour delivers.  For the trim, i chose BM Maritime White #963. It complements the siding colour nicely and is light on its contrasting effect.

It was an overcast day when i took these pictures, so you're not really seeing the richness of the colour, but you can get a great idea nontheless of how it looks from these. So, what do you think? Have a lovely day everyone. XX

  12. I think it's great and that line of trees popping up at the back when looking at the front. They will be very pretty with the house color - when their leaves return.

  35. Hi Stacey! I just found your blog and love it! I am your newest follower. I quickly read that your husband is in the military. Mine is too! My dream is to also build a home but with all the moving around it's hard. I am also sort of new to this military lifestyle. I would appreciate any advice on when you decided to start building. Your new house is awesome! I can't wait to see more of it.

  38. Just found your blog this morning (through the lovely blogger awards that are going around - I have found some great blogs through them!). Love the color you picked for your house - and love the style of your house! I am hoping that you tell us a bit about your house on the blog, because I am very curious about what those two front rooms are - love the windows in them.
