I really love all of the above! I especially adore the words by Audrey Hepburn. What’s up for the weekend my friends? My Mom is coming on Sunday for a week long visit and I am Super Thrilled! I am going to be pampered endlessly and probably told what to do like, “you shouldn’t be lifting this,” or “why don’t you go lay down and relax?”. But, you know what, I am going to enjoy every minute, the pampering and the “nagging”.
. Z is going to be excited to see his Grandma too and she just can’t get enough of her Z! I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend and that you have tons of fun spending time with family and/or friends! XX

Oh how all of these images make me SING!!! Audrey....my fashion icon...she also reminds me of my momma. The rest looks like Italy and what a dream place. I was there 9 years ago with Ruben and it was a chance of a lifetime.

Stacey...sounds like a fun weekend. Nothing like having mom come to visit, I totally regress, its soooo much fun (and a little pathetic) but oh well, I enjoy reaping the benefits what can I say? Because though I am "mid forties" (who needs numbers) my mom loves to still treat me like her little girl and I dont' put up a fight, in fact welcome it. I sooo remember when the kids were younger and the absolute THRILL they would feel when they knew my parents were coming...it was just the best kind of happy. I really miss those days, so enjoy every minute of the special weekend you have and I too love the messages you included today:)

I loved your kitchen post! I too spend most of my time in my kitchen and always seem to clean, clean, clean(especially my black countertouts- they are such a nightmare!!!) and whoops I have to start all over again. A tidy kitchen does not come by itself:), think we´ve both realized that!?
