Understated elegance.

elegant
The facade of this home is simple yet statuesque. I love how the vines have grown up on the sides and that shade provided from the trees looks so welcoming.

elegant1 I love the light coming and and the fact that they left the windows undressed. The neutral walls also is a great backdrop for those deep luscious looking grey couches. Those orange chairs just pop too, don't they? Gotta love orange:-)

elegant11 elegant12I LOVE this kitchen!  Love it!:-)
elegant10
What’s not to love about this room? The homeowner obviously loves the colour orange too! That chair against the dark striped wallpaper and curtains equals Wow!
elegant7 Nice use of colour to highlight the vanity/sink area. I love the purple too.
elegant6 If i ever have a girl, when she gets a bit older, her room is going to be just like this!
Labor Day weekend is almost here! Happy Thursday my friends. XX

So beautiful. I hope this finds you doing well. I've had a rough week. I got laid off on Tuesday. Now I've got to try to find a job in such a bad economy. Wish me luck. Thanks. Take care. Have a great upcoming weekend.

I am so with you on this house. Oh heart be still, I think this one has my name written on it - and the kitchen, yes all the way. While I love so many design styles and an elegant room always catches my eye, it's these spaces that make my heart race. The simple, masculine with pops of femininity (and orange of course) are where I want to live.

i love the "grayness" of it all - but i think i'd get depressed living there - totally appreciate the look and all - but i think it's too much of a downer - i'd need some color and light ..

I love this! I agree with Erika- some pop of color is always great but I love the minimalist and modern feel.

The interior seems so different from the exterior, not at all what I was expecting! That last room is precious, just add a bigger bed and I'll take it for myself!

these pictures are so lovely. the one thing that they all have in common is the fact that they're so simple. simplicity can be so beautiful. i live a very busy, hectic and crowded life. i need to expand my living space and keep it organized so that i can have a peaceful calm house like the ones above. inspiration. completely.

i hope you're having a good day today miss stacey!
