Hawaii and a Special Birthday

hwi
I wish I could say that I haven’t blogged because I was vacationing in Hawaii! But no, I returned to my 18 kiddos/students who were beyond thrilled to see me return to work after my 4 month maternity leave. Though thrilled myself, it has been an extremely difficult transition leaving Baby Ian in someone else’s care while I am at work. Thank goodness, it is only for 3 months…

Anyway, has any of you experienced the magic of Hawaii? Being a military family, Hawaii has always been on my list of dream places that I would love for us to be stationed. Maybe we’ll get lucky before the hubby retires.  This little guy

GOOD MORNING TEACHER!!!!!!

You are back dearest? I never know how you young moms can also teach....I barely can do it having a husband and a house to run!!! BRAVO TO YOU that you are back and before WE know it, SUMMER!!!! Hawaii is a beautiful place. I was there briefly on my way to Japan over 35 years ago when I was a dancer on my way to Asia for a USO tour. Oh there are so many places in the world to visit! Happy 3rd birthday Z!
I was lucky enough to be in H'awaii a few times and attended a wedding in Maui - it was intimate and beautiful just like the place!

Awww....Happy Birthday to your bouncing boy!

As for Hawaii....it's fresh in my mind as I just watched the Descendants, and Hawaii is the setting for the movie. The show you a side you never really see.

And, that's also where we were engaged. On the top of the 7 pool, on the Road to Hana, on the island of Maui.

Here's to hoping one day you get your wish!!

HAPPY DAY, HAPPY MOMENTS, HAPPY LIFE and all you are blessed with!!! I've been to Hawaii once. My husband and I did a volcanic tour. By the time we made it to the winding top, I was so car sick, I couldn't enjoy the majesty of the terrain and the moment. Besides amazing fruit, those are the two things that I always thing of when I hear Hawaii. It's still a special time I shared with my husband :) I know your kids at home and at school are so grateful for you! XO, Kelly
