The Hammy Hammock.

The Hammy is a redesign of sorts of the simple hammock.  It also has a modern appeal in its design. Although the hammy won't sway you to sleep, it most certainly will not flip over. In addition, it can be used as an alternate to chaise lounges by the pool.

The materials used in its crafting make it well suited for the backyard and outdoor elements too:
The materials are decay and insect resistant White Oak, powder coated metal frame, non-fading, waterproof and UV resistant mesh hammock sling.

Not only does the Hammy have an integrated bench, it also boasts a flower planter and wood platform for storage. Gotta love that!

The hammy will set you back  about $1993 and can be purchased here. So, what do you think, is it worth it or is a good old fashioned hammock all you need? XX

  2. Ah, I can imagine myself reading a good book in one of these Hammy Hammock. The price is nice, too. I ought to ask a friend to make me one;-)
Warmly hope the lady and family are well. XXX

  3. Clever, good looking, functional and not enormous like so many. Iike the utilitarian design and for a hammock dare I say its kind of sleek looking! This is a good one and just might be a great Fathers day idea! Thanks Stacey!!

  10. while i certainly can't afford a hammy, i would LIKE to! it looks so comfortable. plus we really only have 1 tree on our proprety, so it would be mighty difficult to hang a hammock that way. :P

  12. This looks pretty cool. And I love that it's called the Hammy. I'm about to meet my friend for lunch who I've called Hammie for the past several years! When we move, we really want to get a hammock - if only we could afford this instead!

  13. It definitely looks like a fun place to hang out. The price tag on the other hand, not so much. I'll tie an old fashioned hammock between the trees and take the 2K for a shopping spree:)

  14. I think it is awesome. If I had space and money I would definitely get one! :)

  16. The hammy looks comfortable enough but at that price I think I stay with our old fashion hammock. We've never been flipped out of it and I like the swaying.

  17. pretty sweet looking. however a bit much for something that will live outside.

  18. Hello my friend! Although I do like it, is it bad that I would still prefer simple old hammock that hangs between two trees? Something very romantic about it! Hope you well! many hugs to you

  19. Seems like a smart idea...not sure about the price though! Maybe it had room for two! :) Hope you're doing well...how is the baby?

  23. Because of the cost, I think I will go for he old fashioned hammock , and I sure wish we had one for our lake house..That would be a great Father's Day gift. I've been a bad blog friend lately. Just been very busy. Sorry. It's almost the weekend. Hope you have a great one. Mona

  26. I want, Stacey!
Let me find spare change under the car seat perhaps?! With the price tag, I prefer to fly to Hawaii i think!

  27. I think there is room in this world for both kinds. This is clever, and I especially adore the idea of scented gardenias or mint growing in it.

But then, an old fashioned hammock swinging under a tree...oh that does it for me....We used to have a hammock under a couple of mango trees in a previous house. Heaven in summer! You could just lie there and pick a ripe mango at leisure.

  29. Hi Stacey, woe, that's a hefty price tag but it's pure perfection. Hammocks are all about relaxing and this takes it to another level. Even a spot to put your drink and magazine! Sorry I haven't popped by in a while, I've just given my blog a 'face lift' as I was at the point I couldn't look at the old version again I was so over it. Pop by soon OK. Are you all settled into your new house? Lucky you! Pruxxxxxxx

  30. Neat idea (won't tip over), but WOW, the price!!!
Think I'll risk the tipover. I've done it so many times anyway, that I'm used to it by now! :-)

    Have a beautiful weekend Stacey!
